Screening of Ballet Russes
The Ballet Theatre of SLO is screening the documentary Ballets Russes” on Saturday November 4th @ 6pm at American Dance of SLO. This is their main fund raising event for their Dec. 16th & 17th Christmas ballet “The Twelve Days of Christmas“.
This acclaimed documentary covers the composers, painters, choreographers, and dancers who collaborated over the 40 year period which brought ballet as we know it to America. The evening includes complimentary food, soft beverages and wine by donation and a fabulous silent auction.
They hope (health permitting) to be graced with the presence of a former Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo dancer!
Tickets are $25 per person and are tax deductable.
